If one would like to take some photos of the IH10-410 interchange, 4 a.m. is a swell time!
There was no possibility of getting arrested for loitering because all the police were busy rushing to 911 calls. A couple of SAPD cruisers blew by with lights, but no siren. No one was there to point an accusatory finger at me except for one poor schmuck at a motel who had to take his dog out for a pee break.
Testament to my geezerhood, I was so self-conscious and nervous I really did not pay the attent…

Got some shots.
In the wee hours.
In fog.
Driving through the intersection in trying to get some shots off with a little Canon Power Shot.
Maybe as bad as talking on a cell phone...
Vague abstracted shapes.
A highway interchange as a huge piece of interpretive sculpture.

So this is for the
Introduction to Digital Photography class.
We are invited to plan a photo-shoot for a final project.
I don't want to say required, because I really get antsy if this all comes to resemble something like the pre-graduation project in a BSc. or BA. program.
So this is what I
want to do.
See posted photos.
I look at structures, and sometimes the abstraction of them compels the desire to photograph that abstraction. So I saw the abandoned cement plant at Thousan…

I will be at the reception tomorrow evening at the Takas Civic Center, 9310 Jim Seal Dr., in the City of Windcrest. Windcrest is celebrating their 50th anniversary and we have been invited to be a part of it. I will have seven pieces of pastel art. There will be over 50+ paintings at the show. This is a great opportunity to see what pastel is all about. See you there!

Seasons of the Southwest
Fresh Air and Desert Blooms are my latest pastel landscape paintings. They are minis in size (5 x 7)and could be hung as a pair or set. With nature in the spotlight, I wanted to capture the colors and light of the Southwest's desert by showcasing its flowers, grasses, and vivid skies. Check out my gallery for my recent works.

When Dissertation Troubles Surrounded Me:
This is an appreciative letter to thank the people who provided pin-point and professional
dissertation help at the time when I was totally disappointed and had braced myself to meet the disaster regarding my PhD degree. It was the worst time of my life when I even thought of my dissertation disapproval.
I was busy working and handling my social life. You can say that I was hanging in bala…

An attitude of gratitude creates blessings. -Sir John Templeton
I have just uploaded several of my oil paintings, I do hope you find as much joy viewing them, and just take a moment, feel the breeze as you stand before the softes ocean breeze, close your eyes and smell the sea salt, be still and hear the ocean whisper. Think of each painting as if you are standing right in the middle of each one and let your imagination blosssom hear, feel, smell and taste, then give yourself 5 minutes of bliss…
