- Throughout my life, I have drawn and painted. Took art in high school but never did anything with my art. Got married, raised a family, and finally focused on my art. My latest venture is founding the Texas Pastel Society for the benefit of south Texas pastelists and to make pastel painting known to the community.

Texas Pastel Society Summer Art Show
I will be at the reception tomorrow evening at the Takas Civic Center, 9310 Jim Seal Dr., in the City of Windcrest. Windcrest is celebrating their 50th anniversary and we have been invited to be a part of it. I will have seven pieces of pastel art. There will be over 50+ paintings at the show. This is a great opportunity to see what pastel is all about. See you there!

At the Eclectic Gallery
The pic I chose for the member list was taken at the Eclectic Gallery , in Kangaroo Court on the Riverwalk. I gallery sit on third Thursday afternoons. I'm one of 48 artists represented at the gallery. Come on by and see some of my paintings along with all the other original works of art. This is a beautiful, inspiring gallery, the dream of owner Janet Paduh.
