Inspire Art Center

One of the great things about this site is the ability to upload not only embedded videos (such as YouTube or Metacafe), but also your own video as well, which creates an embedded version for you to share on other sites. But you can upload as much video as you like which will go into our video library, post on our front page, and on your profile page. Doing it is easy....

First click on the Video tab in the main navigation menu. When you get to that page, you should see a link that says "Add Videos" (Eventually there will be videos in the library - but the link will still be visable).

When you click on that link, it will take you to an upload page. You have three was to upload videos, as you can see in the following picture:

1) Upload your own videos
2) Send videos from your phone
3) Embed YouTube, or other, videos

1) Upload your own videos
If you only want to upload one video just click browse and chose the file and upload. If you want many videos to be uploaded at one time. Click on Try the Bulk Video Uploader. Then just do the same thing, but for all the videos you want to upload.

2) Send videos from your phone
If you have some great video footage on your phone, or just caught something to video, you can actually upload the video directly to the site from your phone. You just text the video to your unique address which can be found - by clicking on More Information, under More Ways to add Videos....by phone or email. There will be a e-mail address which has a unique profile name with @inspireart.ning.com. You just send the video to this address and it automatically uploads.

3) Embed YouTube, or other, videos
Click on the Add Video link under From You Tube or Google from the Add Videos page. You will see a box where you paste the embed code and click Save.

When you upload video you will be taken to a Edit Video Information Screen. Here you can title the video, give a description, give it tags for searches, and geotag it on a map.

So start uploading videos, whether its an instructional video, a documentary about your favorite artist or museum, or personal video its all good!.
