Creating Custom Profiles
As a member of this site, you have your own personal profile page. But you don't have to keep our design on your profile. You have complete control of the design of your page, and considering that almost all of us are the creative types, this feature gives you the ability to add custom headers, backgrounds, colors, etc.
You can chose the easy path and just pick one of the pre-designed templates, you can take these pre-designed templates and still alter them to have custom elements, or if you are are an expert with CSS, you can totally customize your page.
Doing this is easy.....Click on the My Page tab, and under your profile picture you will see a link that states, Change My Photo or Theme. Click on Theme and it will take you to the theme page.
First - you can pick your pre-designed theme...there are plenty to chose from. When you find the them you like, click on the Apply button.
If you want to change the color or elements of this theme...then scroll down and make the changes on the WYSIWYG editor. Everytime you click on a theme - the default settings for that theme populate in the editor. When you are done making your changes, click on the Save button at the bottom.
If you want to create your own custom them from scratch...then click on the Advanced tab, next to the Theme Settings tab (look at the pic above), and you will see a CSS window to code your layout and design elements directly into the site. Again, clicking Save when you are done.
This feature gives you complete control to design a custom profile to show off your look. If you are a business or organization you can use this to create a custom profile for your organization.
